and which not, the main problems is with the audio which is Conexant
High-Definition Audio Driver, anyway hope this drivers works and
report the progress.

Why there are no official driver release for windows 7 for this model?

It
is become the HP/Compaq way to tell user what OS you should use with
the model you have, so if there are only driver officially for Xp
release mean your laptop only can be use with windows XP. However they
not directly prohibit you to use other OS, but you will need to contatct
them for technical issues such as compatible driver and other setting.
